Well, they hold the dog up, so they should hold a house I guess.
A bit of spillage that I wheeled out of there.
Just another basement picture. The forms are all gone. Seems like a waste, buying and installing all that 2x10 lumber just to rip it all off again. But I guess that is just a part of the battle.
hello simple man!
ReplyDeletejust dropping by to visit...

YAY!!! Look at you go now!! I'm so excited for you! Now get busy...there's snow coming! hehe
ReplyDeleteGotta be a way to use those 2 x 10's. Lookin good. How long before the white stuff comes?
ReplyDeleteLooking real good, impressed with the concrete work, drains too nice. When is first snow out your way??
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping in W.W. And all the way from the Phil. Thats interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm doin what I can Cath. I heard the crack of your whip and I am doin what I can. lol. Snow? In Canada? Naaahhhhh, not for awhile yet I hope.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony, ya the 2 x 10's will come in handy for something sometime, I'm sure I will find a use. I've seen snow here as early as September, but we have had years where it did'nt show up till after January. This place is pretty unpredictable weather wise, although alot of people swear by what the farmers almanac says. And I heard it is saying a long summer, what ever that means.
ReplyDeleteThanks Coal. Not sure on the snow, see the above comment. lol. Hopefully it holds off for awhile yet. I remember it turned minus 10 Celcius one night about this time in September. I froze waterlines in my holiday trailer. lol. For now the weather has been excellent for the last few days.
ReplyDeleteHermit,
ReplyDeleteGood to see you are off to a good start. You're doing great!!! Your work looks good. Little by little its taking shape. Keep it up. ~Jen
Thanks Jen. As long a little something gets done, it's gotta get accomplished sometime, I guess.
