The Other Overhang.

Well, I got the other overhang ladder framed in today. My tin roofing material that I ordered was'nt in yet, so I never did go to town today. I still have a bit of prep work to do before the tin anyway. Probably more than I even think. I was kinda hoping to have the tin on before we get any rain, but it sure looks like I could get some rain tonight. I know we could really use it here, but it would be nice if would hold off for a couple more days or three. lol. The wind is kinda testing things also. Sure hope she all holds together.

  2. Thanks Jeanie. It is looking more like some kind of home all the time. I hope the rain stays away too, but I don't think it is going too. It's raining in town and I think it is heading my way, but I guess that dos'nt garantee anything.

  3. Working alone on heavy or awkward things is hard and tests one's inventiveness. This is where a sturdy little woman friend would come in handy!
I guess the cost of that is too high :)

    You are making great progress.

  4. LOL. It would be handy to have a lady friend helping for sure Tossing Pebbles, but ya, your right, the expense. Might as well just hire someone to build the house for me. lol.

Just kidding ladies. :) And if there happens to be one out there feeling spry and spunky, just come on down.

  6. Don'tcha mean 'come on UP'? since you are up there in the middle of no-freakin-where north, I think we are all down here below ya! LOL!
Looks great! glad to see you got them set safely and with some help.

  7. Well ok Annie, I guess I could have said come on up, because most of my readers are from the south, but in all reality, there are people who live north of me ya know. I don't live at the north pole with Santa Claus. Not quite anyway. I could have said "come on up or down or over, depending on where you live", but I just chose to say "come on down", because I used to watch the price is right a long long time ago. But the fact of the matter is that I don't really care if you come from East, West, South or North, if ya got a hammer in hand and know how to hold a measuring tape, it could be good. lol, Ok? As long as the hammer is'nt meant to be used on me of course.
It was good to have the help with the rafters the other day. We worked our asses off that day. I have had friends offer to help me with things once in awhile, but I'm just saving it for when I really need it. I hate to bother people, because it seems everyone's always so busy with their work, families and their own projects and whatever. Thanks for correcting me Annie. :)
